BP Gulf Oil Spill: Worst Environmental Disaster; Worst Containment

As we all know the oil spill is turning out to be one of the worst offshore spills this world has ever seen; it is gushing out millions of gallons of essential crude oil resulting in an outrageous drilling moratorium backed by the Barack Hussein administration; the explosion killed eleven workers, injured dozens, and supposedly caused one man to commit suicide; and the current administration is milking the disaster to advance a greener energy agenda, hustling money, and irresponsibly pointing fingers. Liberal crony Ken Salazar is above the law of the land continually pushing, downright insistent on the drilling moratorium that has been shot down by the federal judge. On the outskirt of logic, a moratorium might seem like the right move, why continue drilling if the dangers of an oil spill is perhaps lurking around the corner? A moratorium on off-shore drilling is detrimental to an economy that is already struggling with foreign dependence on oil. Not to mention the dip in unemployment for workers in that industry and the possible sky rocket in oil prices not only at the gas pump but within the homes; this moratorium could potentially sink the economy to new lows. Statistically speaking, oil rig explosions are rare if you take a look back through history; you cannot assume that just because one rig exploded that others are dangerous, there is no evidence supporting that theory which results in a six-month block of off-shore drilling which is outrageously radical and unnecessary. Could the big push for a moratorium be a stunt in advancing the Barack Hussein greener energy agenda? For those who have not watched or read his address please take a look at source #2 and #3 for an overview and a surprising review from MSNBC. Most people directly point their fingers at BP; they curse the company alongside Haliburton, Transocean, and Exxon. I do not refute this, because yes, BP made a mistake. The liberal attack media blatantly disregards the Barack Hussein administration’s role in the spill. The media blackout, with the exclusion of FOX, is trying silence the fact that the administration readily refused foreign aid in the beginning stages of the spill (4). A month plus some days after the fact, maybe add a week or two, the United States is finally seeking international aid. Excuses fly left and right from the Barack Hussein administration, “We’ll let BP decide on what expertise they do need,” says Gordon Duguid (State Department spokesman). And this is reported from the Liberal Washington Post! The Jones Act (Merchant Marines Act 1920) (6) was not waived because the left will hammer and harp to the media that it has not been needed. Bush waived the Jones Act within days of Hurricane Katrina to allow foreign ships to assist in the disaster. The supporters of the Jones Act are a large group of union workers that have a cozy tie to the Barack Hussein administration, and although most agree that the temporary waiver of this act would assist in oil containment, the president once again fails to listen to his constituents and is only concerned with furthering his agendas despite public opinion. The Barack Hussein administration hustled $20 billion from BP in an escrow fund that his administration is now going to distribute, yet as I’ve been told, there is still not an aquatic life fund that people are griping at BP about, maybe we should direct those questions at the government with the escrow fund of reparation monies. BP is a large corporation raking in hundreds of billions of dollars; there was never a question as to whether they were going to pay reparations. The standard set by the government is $75 million for disasters such as the oil spill, so why did Barack Hussein hustle $20 billion into an escrow fund? Where is the money going? If it’s headed in the same directional path as social security then the small business owners, shrimpers, fisheries, and etc. are screwed. Let’s keep a close eye on the union workers, because I believe they’ll be the ones receiving fat checks. To drive the point home, Barack Hussein extended his executive powers to lengths that are unconstitutional; BP definitely owes reparations, but let the legislative branch decide, let’s remind our president that we’re a democracy and that checks and balances still apply. Other than playing golf, attending Kelly Clarkson concerts, going on date-night with Michelle ‘Obambi,’ Barack Hussein has responded very poorly to a crisis that he compared to 9/11 (7). Yet the liberal media harps on Tony Hayward (BP Cheif) for attending a ‘glitzy yacht race’ as referred to be the liberal butt kissing Huffington Post (8). The hypocritical soundings of the left at its best. Another brown nosing outrageous article by the Huff Post entitled “Never Let a Crisis Go to Waste” (9) paired with the ridiculous address given by Barack Hussein with his blue ribbon rhetoric on greener energy agenda highlights the lack of urgency of actually containing the oil. Little know that the oil rig inspections are the responsibility of the government and that the oil rig that exploded was due to insufficient inspections that may have prevented one of the worst environmental disasters this history has seen to date (10). The models that predict disasters were also based on those created six years ago in 2004 (11). Before solely pointing the finger at BP and supporting ridiculous boycotts that may put thousands of innocent workers, who are average everyday Americans with no link or relation to the oil spill, out of jobs, lets fact check instead of dropping curse words. As for the burning turtles, I’ll say it again, Sorry guys, you’re taking one for the team. The idea of interrupting booms and the clean up effort to save turtles is preposterous. I vow to solely buy gas for my gas guzzling SUV from BP to counteract the mindless boycotting :) 1. http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/greenspace/2010/06/gulf-oil-spill-salazar-defends-renewed-moratorium.html 2. http://www.redstate.com/mark_i/2010/06/16/obama-speech-breakdown/ 3. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2010/06/15/msnbc_trashes_obamas_address_compared_to_carter_i_dont_sense_executive_command.html 4. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/06/13/AR2010061304232.html 5. http://floridaindependent.com/2492/jones-act-not-yet-waived-to-deal-with-oil-spill 6. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merchant_Marine_Act_of_1920 7. http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503544_162-20007577-503544.html 8. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/06/19/gulf-oil-spill-tony-haywa_n_618332.html 9. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/gene-karpinski/never-let-a-crisis-go-to_b_567608.html 10. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/06/11/AR2010061106169.html 11. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748703900004575325131111637728.html?mod=WSJ_WSJ_US_News_5

Sadface.

 I’m here friend.

I am God’s creation; I thank Him for my unique creation.  I know in my heart that He has bestowed a purpose in me, and I am to fulfill His work by following His ways to flourish; He possesses my heart, mind, body, and soul.  When I stand before Him I will be able to say, “Yes Lord, I have sinned; I accept Jesus Christ in my heart and believe that he died for my sins.  I have embraced my creation under you, and I can say I loved with the heart you have blessed me with.  I stand before you today in hopes that you see the purity of love and faithfulness I have for you, my yearning desire for that relationship, and the appreciation of the life you have blessed me with.”

I’m making amends; life is too short to not do right by the people you have wronged.

Books I Need To Pick Up…

1.  Chelsea Handler - Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang

2.  Michelle Malkin - Culture of Corruption: Obama and His Team of Tax Cheats, Crooks, and Cronies

3.  Glenn Beck - Glenn Beck’s Common Sense: The Case Against an Out-of-Control Government

4.  Sean Hannity - Conservative Victory: Defeating Obama’s Radical Agenda

5.  Timothy Beal - Biblical Literacy: The Essential Bible Stories Everyone Needs to Know

You like the chase but hate me for the run around.
I’m scared to death I won’t be able to do it; I’m afraid I might break down at any given moment.
I’m going to focus on me, and I’m going to change all for the better, starting… tomorrow.

I try to make sense of this life I live; I try to simplify the mass that overbears.  I have no direction, and it doesn’t make much sense.  There’s no use, because there is no changing his ways.  I’d be better off cutting strings and accepting the loss and moving on with my life with my head still high.

Love is strange; it makes me do odd things.  Love knocks down walls.  Walls I’ve worked hard to build up.  Love means vulnerability.  I never asked for it.  I wish I knew how to make it stop.  Love is never giving up although sometimes I’d like nothing more.
